Material Composition
- Battery chemistry
- LFP — lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cathode with a graphite anode
- Critical raw materials

- Hazardous substances
- None above threshold
Impact of substances on environment, human health, safety, persons
The cells contain no substances of very high concern above 0.1 % by weight. Lithium iron phosphate is thermally stable and non-toxic in normal use. The main risks are electrical: a short-circuited, crushed or overheated cell can vent flammable gas and ignite, so the battery must be kept undamaged and within its rated temperature range.
Circularity & Resource Efficiency
Safety instructions for handling waste batteries
Treat this battery as live until it is handed in. Tape over the terminals or leave the connector cover fitted so it cannot short-circuit, and never carry it loose alongside other batteries or metal objects. A lithium cell that has been dropped, crushed, swollen or soaked can heat up without warning and catch fire hours later, so keep a damaged unit outdoors on a non-combustible surface away from buildings, and tell the collection point that it is damaged. Never open, repair or discharge the pack yourself.

Labels, Symbols & Conformity
Separate collection symbolCollect this battery separately — never discard it with household waste.
- Extinguishing agent
- Large volumes of water, or sand or a Class D dry-powder extinguisher for a developed cell fire. Do not rely on CO₂ or foam alone on a lithium-ion fire.
Meaning of labels and symbols
The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol means this battery must be collected separately and never discarded with household waste. The "Cd" and "Pb" chemical symbols, where shown, indicate cadmium or lead content above the labelling threshold. The CE marking indicates conformity with the applicable EU requirements.
End of life
Recycle & dispose
Recycling Instructions
Do not place this battery in household or general waste. At end of life, return the complete unit to a battery take-back point, your installer, or a municipal collection facility so its lithium, iron and graphite can be recovered.
Disposal Instructions
Never crush, incinerate or landfill this battery. A damaged, swollen or end-of-life unit must be handed to an authorised waste-battery collection point. Store it in a cool, dry place away from flammable materials until it can be returned.
Claims are self-declared by the manufacturer.
