Question 1 of ?
What type of products do you sell?
Different product types have different requirements and timelines.
How the assessment works
- 01
Tell us about your products
Pick your product category — textiles, batteries, electronics, furniture, or other. We tailor the questions to the rules that apply to that category, since ESPR delegated acts have different timelines and data requirements per product type.
- 02
Answer 8–12 questions
Quick multiple-choice questions about your supply-chain visibility, material data, care instructions, and substance tracking. No personal data is collected. Most brands finish in under two minutes.
- 03
Get a personalized gap report
We map your answers to the actual ESPR requirements and show you which fields you can complete today versus the work that needs upstream supplier outreach. Each gap links back to the regulation or harmonized standard that requires it.
What you'll get
- A clear list of the data fields your Digital Product Passport will require, organized by which ones you can answer today and which need supplier follow-up.
- The applicable timeline for your product category — when the delegated act applies, when enforcement begins, and what a realistic preparation runway looks like.
- Direct citations to the relevant ESPR articles, EUR-Lex references, and CEN/CENELEC harmonized standards so you can verify every requirement yourself.
- An honest assessment of how prepared your brand is right now, including the gaps that are most common across small and mid-size brands.
Frequently asked questions
- Who is this readiness check for?
- Small and mid-size brands selling textiles, batteries, electronics, or furniture into the EU — or planning to. The check is calibrated for brands without dedicated compliance staff, which is most of the market under ESPR. SMEs are not exempt under the regulation, so this is the audience that needs preparation help most.
- How long does the assessment take?
- About two minutes. There are 8 to 12 multiple-choice questions, depending on your product category. The questions auto-advance — there is no signup, no payment, and no follow-up email unless you ask for the report.
- What does the assessment cover?
- Material composition, supply-chain traceability, care and end-of-life information, substances of concern under REACH and SCIP, product identifiers like GS1 and GTIN, and sustainability metrics. These map to the data carriers and information requirements specified in the ESPR framework regulation and the textile delegated act draft.
- Is this legally binding compliance advice?
- No. The readiness check is an educational tool to help you understand what your DPP will need. The ESPR regulation, the applicable delegated act for your product category, and any harmonized standards published by CEN/CENELEC are the authoritative sources. We cite them throughout the gap report so you can verify each requirement directly.
- What happens after I see my results?
- Nothing automatic. You can email yourself the gap report, share it with your team, or use it as a roadmap for supplier conversations. If you want to start building a Digital Product Passport with the data you have today, the free PassportCraft starter plan covers your first three products.
