Who is PassportCraft for?
Any brand selling physical products into the European Union — across textiles and fashion, and increasingly batteries, electronics, and furniture as DPP requirements expand. Whether you're an independent studio publishing your first passport or an established manufacturer managing a large catalog, PassportCraft scales to fit.
Do I need to be based in the EU to use it?
No. The Digital Product Passport applies to products placed on the EU market, regardless of where your brand is based. Brands selling into the EU from outside — including the US, UK, Turkey, and China — use PassportCraft to meet the same requirements.
What standards does PassportCraft use?
Passports are built on open standards — GS1 Digital Link for the QR data carrier and Schema.org for structured product data — so your information stays portable and interoperable rather than locked into a proprietary format.
Who is responsible for the accuracy of my passport data?
You are. PassportCraft helps you structure and publish your product information and uses AI to assist with drafting, but you review and approve everything before it goes live. Your brand always owns and signs off on what appears in your passports.
